My name is Hubert Weldon, though most of my colleagues call me Grav. I graduated with BFA in Visual Effects the Savannah College of Art and Design and am currently working on my MFA in Electronic Visualization at the University of Illinois. Though my speciality is graphics programming and shader design, I am also an avid photographer. Within this portfolio you find documentation of computer graphics research, examples of 3d animation, foundational art. You will also find my current artistic endeavors which are designed to meld physical, spiritual, and mechanical into a synthesis that refects the potential evolvements of the human condition. In addition to my work within the electronic visual arts, I spend nearly all of my spare time refining my vision and skills as a photographer. You will find both stand alone images and bodies of work which are ever evolving into subtly different visual concepts. Prints of both my photography and my computer graphics work will soon be available for purchase. Thank you for visiting and enjoy the show.
