3d Software- Adept in the use of: Houdini for both procedural animation and particle simulation generation; Shader generation using Pixar’s Renderman shading language, Houdini’s VEX shading language, and the traditional tools which accompany most 3d software packages; Maya and 3d Studio Max; Render farm technologies; Unreal Development Kit
Photography- Adept in both digital and analog photography, capable of teaching students how to use either a wet darkroom or a “digital darkroom;” Knowledgeable in alternate processes
Graphic Software- Over eleven years experience creating and manipulating images using Photoshop, and webpage generation using Dreamweaver and standard text editors
Hardware- Self trained computer technician who has built his own equipment for twelve years. Also trained in the use of electronics and microcontrollers for interactive electronics

Academia:
Teaching- Served as Instructor’s Assistant at UAFS while a Scholar Preceptor. Provided demonstrations and short lectures on advanced Renderman techniques. Taught computer graphics and web design workshops for faculty and staff at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Instructed faculty and staff at UIC on techniques for bringing their classes online using Blackboard. Taught 3d animation at to high school student at Gallery 37. Taught 3d animation at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith.
Tutoring- Houdini/Renderman/Art History tutor at SCAD; Head Tutor for Montgomery Hall
Research- Extensive independent research in the use of Renderman shading language in Houdini leading to creation of efficient pipeline; independent research developing a methodology for a more efficient way of visualizing complex point clouds; research assistant for a graduate thesis project developing utilities for creating matched lights from real world light meter readings.
Shows- Has shown photography at several New Works shows. Created the large scale 3d animation video facade “Tesseraction” which has become part of the permanent collection at the Hyde Park Art Center. Presented “Meridianus Divinitus” at Center for Virtual Reality in the Arts. Collaborated in the installation “HPSCHD (in 3D)” at UAFS.
